You can help us learn how to prevent, diagnose, and treat gastrointestinal (GI) illnesses by participating in one of our research studies. Apply today.
We’re actively involved in research studies ranging from Phase 2 to Phase 4, which can span from several months to several years.
Anyone can apply, but all research applicants must be screened through our research department before scheduling an appointment.
Our trials constantly change, so contact our office to see if you qualify for one of our current clinical research studies.
Participation in our clinical trials is entirely voluntary, and before joining, each patient must sign a consent form. Patients are free to withdraw their consent at any point during the study for any reason.
For most clinical trials, the study or sponsor provides the necessary medication throughout the study duration. Additionally, participants in many studies may receive compensation for their time and travel, although the amount varies and is explained in the study consent form.
Most procedures required by the study are performed at no cost to the participants. This includes various services like office visits, lab work, endoscopic procedures, ECGs, and X-rays.
Our primary commitment is ensuring patient safety and providing top-notch care.
We closely monitor each study and participant, keeping a keen eye on any adverse reactions. If a serious adverse reaction occurs, it is promptly reported to both the study sponsor and an independent review board.
We prioritize hands-on care and direct contact with our research department. Every participant is given direct contact information for the Research Coordinators and the Research Manager. This direct line of communication ensures that any questions or worsening symptoms can be promptly addressed by the research department, prioritizing efficiency and patient needs.
Our Clinical Research Department specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of the digestive system, including the esophagus, stomach, intestines, gall bladder, pancreas and liver.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank each of our past and current clinical trial participants. If you are interested in participating in one of our research studies, contact our office to speak with the research department.
